So much has been accomplished in the last few years since Learning By Doing began to protect and restore our rivers here in Grand County. LBD is a cooperative effort that brings together many groups including TU, government agencies and water diverters working together to cooperatively solve problems our rivers are facing. LBD’s approach is not confrontational, but rather cooperative.
We’ve learned that all parties communicating with each other and working together rather than simply arguing and litigating brings tangible, positive results for the health of our rivers. Here on the Western Slope, we’d be delighted if all the water that would naturally flow into our rivers was still there, but we understand that wish will never be a reality. LBD is an important tool helping to make the best of our imperfect reality.
Learning By Doing publishes an excellent newsletter that we strongly encourage you to read. You’ll learn about some of our recent accomplishments and so much more!
