Most Endangered River for 2022

The waters of the Colorado are critical to the support of a $1.4 trillion economy and dinking water for 40 million people in the west. Rising temperatures, drought-driven climate change, overallocation of the water we do have and river management practices that were based on the information available when slavery was still legal have proven to be a horrible combination for the Colorado.
