Grand County Historical Association Hosted a River Presentation with Kirk Klancke
Grand County Historical Association welcomed Kirk Klancke, President of the Colorado River Headwaters Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Chairman of the Grand County Drought Response Plan Committee. On Saturday April 9th at Cozens Ranch Museum in Fraser. Kirk gave an educational presentation on our local rivers. Topics on discussion included the Windy Gap Connectivity Channel Project and its current construction, progress, and benefits. Following this Kirk will also discussed our current drought and the impacts we may be seeing to Grand County Rivers.
